I grew up in Meiganga, Cameroon. I did my undergraduate degree in Sciences at the University of Yaounde 1,followed by Honours in Physics. I started temporary lectureships at the University of Yaounde 1, followed by a permanent lectureship at the University of Ngaoundere in 2002. Shortly afterwards, I took leave to complete a three-year PhD DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst e.V., Kennedyallee, Bonn) Scholarship in Berlin. I did my PhD in Physics at the Free University of Berlin, Germany, on the Characterization of as- grown and Ge- ion implanted CuGaSe2 thin films prepared by the CCSVT technique. After a post-doctoral research position at the Hahn- Meitner Institut Berlin (renamed as Helmholtz Centre for Materials and Energy, HZB), I returned back to Cameroon in 2007. I am now Professor of Physics.

My research spans Physics and the Mathematical Sciences. I am using my expertise in Physics to power the future, improve industry, security, defence and the environment.
My research covers the following topics:
• Physics of Semiconductors and the Evolution of Computing.
• Physics of Chaos and Nonlinear Dynamical Systems.
• Non- equilibrium phase transitions.
• Computational Physicsents.

In 2009, I was appointed Deputy Director and Head of the Department of Physics at the Higher Teachers Training College of the University of Maroua, where I refined my skills in university operational governance.
In 2015, I continued my apprenticeship, this time in strategic university governance, first as Vice-Rector in charge of research, cooperation and relations with the business world, then as Vice-Rector in charge of teaching, professionalization and ICT development.
Appointed this time to the University of Maroua in 2022, I am the first Director of the National Advanced School of Mines and Petroleum Industries, based in Kaélé.
